if i cut my muffs off right now can i drive it around town maybe like 8 miles within the time they will be off do you think they would be that loud to get pulled over or no? im just really anxious to put my new 1's on lol

Don't have any problems with mine, but depends on the cops in your area. Also make sure that there are hangers far enough back that will hold the exhaust up so your pipes don't drop down and bounce all around on you while your driving.

no mufflers aint bad. try going with an open downpipe. now that **** is loud.

Depends on the cops. My old hometown they were pricks with loud exhaust. I had a T/A with a 6.6 under the hood. I ran straight pipes, they busted me a few times.
One time I was driving it with just hedders ha ha, they pulled me over and I left it running. The cop was pissed, screamed " I said to shut it off!!!" My reply was "sorry officer I didnt hear you" LOL, was funny until I went to court for that ticket

Back at home the cops always pulled the cars with loud exhaust, but never the trucks. I was in my truck on night, which is louder than the car, and asked a cop why they pulled the cars and not trucks. He replied that trucks are suppose to be loud not cars. So that's when I hacked the mufflers off the GTP and made it really loud.

yup yup i got a huge scare today i work at like 4 so at 3 i went to advanced got an adaptor for my 2 ' pipe to my 2.25 muffler inlet and i got the exact measurements..... i forgot duh its the same freakin size haha so i returned em tonight and got the right adaptor =] tomarrows the big day haha

No muffs ain't bad, as long as you watch your surroundings and don't push the gas when you see a cop you'll be fine. You still have a cat and a res so that will kill some of the noise.

Try driving a GTP w/ open TOG headers 15 miles! Boy that was loud! I used back roads all the way to the exhaust shop (it was the closest shop who wouldn't ***** about not having or wanting a Cat installed) and of course I passed a Hi-Po on the way. I let off the gas as soon as I passed him (about 45 mph) his brake lights were on and watched me till I went over the hill. I didn't press my gas until I was up over the hill and a little ways away, I probably crested the hill at around 25mph before finally going downhill. I know if I would of tapped the gas he would of came after me...

I bet she was loud. Had to be a scary feeling when you saw the cop. I've been running mine without a rese or mufflers for a while now and no problems, but like said before, depends on the area your in. It's about time for me to throw some mufflers on her now. Kinda getting over the whole extremely loud exhaust.
