For those who don't know this protest is going on 3 weeks now. It is no longer being fought alone on Wall Street, it has become global, but you wont see any #OccupyWallStreet tweets from Canada, The United States, Mexico or South America on Twitters trend pages. They have them blocked. (Update:The block on #OccupyWallStreet tweet trends has been lifted)

For those who don't know the point of the protest, eveyone has a different reason for the same cause. Most of which is to end corporate greed. The economy and banking systems are corrupt and evil corportations, and there is no time like now to change the way the system works.

"We are the 99 percent. We are getting kicked out of our homes. We are froced to choose between groceries and rent. We are denied quality medical care. We are suffering from envrionmental pollution. We are working long hours for little pay and no rights, if we're working at all. We are getting nothing while the other 1 percent is getting everything. We are the 99 percent." -www.wearethe99percent.tumblr.com

The protests at Wall Street have been Violent! Not on the part of the protesters, but on the part of NYPD. The irony in that is that JP Morgan gave them the biggest donation NYPD has ever received at 4.6 Million just days after the protests began. I believe the donation was given the same day that NYPD corralled the protestors onto the brooklyn bridge and arrested 700 people, including children. These protestors were released and reorganized to continue the protest.

Find your local Occupy Events on Facebook and help the cause! All you have to do is seach "Occupy (The name of your city/state/college)"

This is a great spoken word piece that relates:

Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.

Yes, we are so under paid company's make more money by having the product produced over seas, shipped to the US and shipped from ports to stores and it is cheaper than they can pay a US citizen by the hour to make.

The views of this thread are so right wing and not that there arent points to make, but the method and complete idea along with the just enough information theology is entertaining.

How long before it's a movie?

“The monetary system is not working,” he said. “The banks are here to steal from us. Everybody is in debt whether it’s medical bills or school or loans. People are getting fed up with it.”

I like this quote. So we are in debt from medical bills, which is an understandable concern, but payment plans are available and the expenses were known before undertaking the medical treatement.

School = education = money to obtain. Not everyone deserves an education IMO. We setup a nationwide public school system and it has been laughed out of existance by not only gov't (as this protest likes to day), but also by the people within the system that don't attend school or refuse to meet the requirements of the system to obtain the damn near free education.

Loans........You are borrowing money......you think it's free to do that? How many are protesting their credit card bills for the pop, cigs, candy and junk they felt they need, but was truly just a want.?.?.?

As far as the arrests where they forced people on the bridge. That is not accurate. They arrested people on Wall Street as well as people on the Boston Bridge.

I am not saying they do not have a point its just that if you are going to make a statement include the entire truth and not just the parts that make you look good and leave out the important information. If there is a point to make make it!, but understand the entire lot of information and have a fix for the problem you are screaming about.

People understand the economy is in the toilet, but nobody is stepping up with a solution. Not a suggested solution, but a clean cut method out of the madness. It doesn't take a lot of brain power to realize there is a problem, but it does to create a resolution.

Take the time and energy being used to protest and put that into problem solving. P.S. the marines can be arrested in uniform just like everyone else.

solution: cut government funded programs or have better requirements in order to get benefits from them and raise taxes.

too bad everyone in the country is too stupid to think this is a good idea and think the 'rich' should get taxed more (true, since taxes are based off wage), but think the lower class citizens should just get off with nothing. china is going to take us over and rape us in a few years if we continue to let the bottom 1/3 of our country run their mouths like they know any better.

The protesters aren't unemployed. To be unemployed, you have to want a job.

We are already taxed to death why raise it any higher?

My solution take away every tax deduction known. Corporate, personal, everything.

The only person at fault is not a president or a single individual it's all of us. But people are too blind to see that. Why should we tax someone more because they busted their ass to get where they are today? Why do they owe America more money to "fix" something we got ourselves in to in the first place. To me that's just not right. They have paid their dues why should they pay someone elses? I don't own a business, but if I did you better believe I'm going to freeze hiring if my business taxes are going to rise. At least until I know I can make ends meet which includes the employees I have right now.

To often people look for an easy way out and it's quite pathetic really. Bailouts are dumb so are stimulus packages and repackaged stimulus packages called "job creations."

People need to stop asking for handouts and take care of their own business. If a company fails then it fails. Obviously they did something wrong and need to reinvent their product.

the problem with this protest is no one knows why they are there, not one person is in charge, and they all have their own agenda, so in short they are all wasting their time.

they need to organize and have set topics to b!tch about, every news crew out there has 5 people with different ideas why they are there, others are to dumb to talk right on camera. morons!

hey lets go shut down the Brooklyn bridge after the cops told them what would happen, then 500 people go to jail, not to smart, you cant be heard from a jail cell, can you moron?

if you ask me its all a big joke and not worth anyone's time till they organize.

i haven't watched the news in 2 days so if anything has changed since then i apologize, but from what i see, this is a group who has no idea wtf they are doing but f ing up traffic.

oh and cell phone vids of then trying to incite the cops to beat them, good job morons. this protest spells FAIL!

Their economy is so intertwined with ours it's no wonder. We're a nation of consumers now, not producers.

ever hear of the bilderbergs? (its a secret club of bankers, wall street assholes ect, the rich from around the world) this group is why all the economy's around the world are so messed up, and this world bank crap, presidents are not elected, they are appointed, "puppets". if you look at the world, this ones up, then that ones down, economy's falls apart, then we do good, then we do bad, someone else does better. frigging roller coaster.

if you ask me the only elections that are real are the small local towns, everything else is rigged.

it really looks like these higher ups in the world are trying to fvck everything up so they can just make it the way they want it, (its a plan, look at Europe and the euro, no ones happy about that crap) one currency for the the planet, one big bank.

but in the mean time we all suffer from it. but they don't care, they are eating big fat steaks, traveling on big private planes, living in huge ass houses, or mansions. pisses me off to no end. not saying im jealous, but my god wtf? live it up jerk offs, while we all starve to death slowly.

ever give aids a thought? these people want the population of the planet to drop drastically too, why not blame the gays? im sure that was a plan too, you know there is a cure for all these bad diseases, and cancer. we are all being scammed bad.

now you may say im being a conspiracy moron, but ive read enough on this crap to make up my own mind, and i dont like what im seeing, how about you people?

give these links a read Google
