Honestly.. the GTO looks like a big Cavalier to me, and the G8 is weak, but has lots of potential to be bad ass.

If you want to get a hold of a car that is fairly bad ass right off the lot. Get one of these...

SRT-8 Charger is no joke. You can get a very nice used one for around $28,000. I know I'd get one before I ever even consider a GTO or G8.

G8..I want one anyhow...they look mean and big and I like that. Plus they are powerful and have lots of potential. Like someone said earlier the GTO's look like cavaliers. Having a sedan that can double as a normal car for passengers, luxury, and being roomy, plus V8 power is the best combo I think....I just can't afford that, and gas...so I'm happy with my GTP.

I'd do a GTO before a G8 any day of the week. I've drove both, the G8 didn't do it for me. Also, i'm not much for a 4-door car. I don't really like a sedan, I like a coupe and plan on driving one for many years. I think Chrysler screwed up a classic by releasing a 4-door Charger, shoulda been a 2 door like the original.

I keep my eyes open for clean 05-06 GTOs, I want to pick one up in the future. I'm holding out untill the new F-bodies to come out... Old F-bodies and GTOs are go for outrages prices (seen several in the 20k range and that ridiculous for an "old" car), I predict they will drop once the new F-bodies come out, we'll see...

G8 for me. GTO was too small. I need and like the four doors.

but in reality what's really been grabbing my eye is a mid 90s Buick Roadmaster.

    G8. I would get the G8 over anything Chrysler/Ford....

G8- mid to low 13's stock. GTO- mid to upper 14's......(from all the stock ones I have seen at byron) I have even seen an auto run 15.5

We have a chrysler plant a few miles away....friends work there. needless to say..the stories are enough to discourage me.....
