So, I bought a new home and need to get the rear speakers setup as wireless. Anyknow know of a good transmitter and receiver to use just for two maybe four rear speakers? Right now it will be two, but my add on shortly.

Seems there are transmitters and receivers out on the market, but it seems they have to be used with certain speakers or are product specific.

I use Klipsch SS .5s for the rear, but I am not finding anything that will work with them. There has to be something out there that works, but I haven't found it yet.

I bought a set with wireless rear speakers a couple of years back. It was a cheap brand, can't even remember the name. But the wireless speakers came like that from factory. Bought it at walmart for around 120 bucks, it sounded good and strong in overall, but the rear speakers were a pain.

You had to turn them on and off individually and whenever there was sound in that channel it would start kind of late as in they seemed to be in some kind of sleep mode and once they received the signal they power up, but in overall it takes like half a second to happen so the sound begins like cut. Kind of like when you plug in wired speakers to a source that it's already playing. So it's not smooth at all and it happens every single time, not just sometimes.

Then there was the reception issue, no matter how close they were to the main set, they always had reception problems, they started doing fart like sounds (it wasn't me, i promisse).

I ended up buying a different set obviously. Although this is a cheap brand I'm talking about, I'm not sure how other brands work. Just wanted to talk about how my experience with it was.

A friend of mine bought a wireless surround system. Whenever he got a call on his cell, the rear speakers made a high pitch whine. The first time it happened he nearly fell out of his chair. We looked into fixes for it, but everything we came across was just going to cost him more money and only maybe fix it. The speakers also made a snap-crackle-pop noise during low or no volume parts of watching TV. It completely turned me off from wireless speakers and my friend sold it and bought a wired system.

Since you own the house, do it the right way. Drill holes and run wires. Then you avoid the interference and other issues like Juan mentioned. Be sure to use EM shielded wires.

Drilling is not an option. I only pay on the home the wife owns it.

There is a system made by a Canandian company that has a shifting signal, so the noise shouldn't happen.

Thanks for the PMs and help all.
