i killed my 98 se last month racing a bike on the highway, apparently having your rad blow a hole in it at 130mph is not a good thing, lol. i just bought a 97 gtp with only 103,000m on it, but now i need some suggestions for power upgrades, gonna start with the stage 1 computer, but after that im not sure what to add to get the best power out of my L67.

There is a stage 2 computer?

And your SE went 130mph? It must have been tuned...

Also...click the link in my signature...then get back at us...and lastly...don't waste your time with a bike...your not getting close unless its a carb'd 250.

it had the stage 1 pcm, so it didn't shut off. also it had some other mods. well on the top end i could keep up with some bikes. 2 years ago i raced my buddy who owns a gsxr 600 and my gps was reading 160mph. but couldn't push the car any further. lol

    Impossible guy.

    Quit trolling.

My car couldn't hang with a GSXR600...and it would make your car look like it was sitting still.

well the big difference is my car is Canadian, so i dont have your trash transmissions or restrictions due to emission laws. and if you dont think your trans is different it is. my se would smoke my american gtp because of the gearing . and i did have my car go that fast. i didnt say i did it in 1 mile it took some didtance but 120mph + was easy in my car.

Okay now I must admit, that sounds terribly like troll material.

You have the same emissions package as most American vehicles.

    You have the same transmission.

3.29's versus 2.93's do NOT negate the extra 40 horse and 55 ft lbs of torque.

Great news, you own a 97.

    Which are notorious for gremlins.

    More great news.

You sound quite derogative towards Americans.

And this forum is mostly comprised of them.

Consider yourself on borrowed time at this point.

If you're not here to learn or contribute to the forum, we really do not want you here.

i dont dislike Americans. actually most i have met are great people. and there are differences in the emission setups. also my car had a lot of mods, i was just asking for the best bet for my supercharged car (basically best sc upgrades) . and i dont care if you believe me or not but just because your car couldn't go that fast does not mean someone else's car couldn't. my SE was well built.

Well built how...care to esplain your mods in detail?

I'd like to see your SE blow the tires off at 40mph...not on oil or ice...or water...or bleach.

    Because it couldn't.

    Ever.

Keep trying though, I'm all ears.
