Looking for a new TV for college. Im willing to spend up to $500. Me and my roommate with a PS3 will be sharing this tv for the year. I also have an Xbox 360 and plan on playing a lot one november hits and like 30 good games come out on the same week.
Amazon.com: VIZIO 32 Inch Class Theater 3D LCD HDTV with VIZIO Internet AppsĀ®: Televisions & Video
Now be hesitant before you go and hate on the 3D. Ill admit there isnt very much going for it right now, but I still think it would be nice to have. The Xbox360 supports 3D games (Black ops for example) But not very many, at least compared to the PS3. I also dont yet have a blu-ray player to play 3D movies. One awesome thing about it is that even though it comes with 2 pairs of glasses, you can just take the glasses from the movie theater and use those since its the same type of 3D. The only thing i dont like about the TV is that even though you can use the Vudu app on the TV itself, you cant stream 3D movies from it, the 3D data has to go through the HDMI ports. I think my college has HD channels, but im not entirely sure. If you dont like that TV find me one that is 40+ inches for that price. (Wont be 3D, and probably wont have online apps, but I also have an Xbox with netflix, facebook, ect.)
