Well over the last couple years I have acumilated alot of stuff... I have a mid level gaming computer (I built)... 42" Tv with a 1000W surround system... couple other usless tvs.. all 3 major gaming systems... And now Ive run out of things to spend my money on.. Wanted to upgrade to a bigger tv were talking 50+" but its in the $800 range.. I got my 42" plus a little 250W surround sound system for 600 when I got it... Hmm I wonder what I should do with my money..

Spend the money on a new girlfriend or wife?

    Send the money to me?

Buy cheap hookers and expensive wine?

Sell everything and invest in Apple computer stock?

Apple just announce that they have more cash ($76 billion) then the entire USA government right now, which only has ($74 billion)

I'll vouch for the klipsch harmon kardon combo... And I have a 15" sub for it too

But seriously just put the money away if you can, or invest as much as possible into a 401k plan especially if the company has good matching. People call me nuts cause I have the 401k, roth IRA/mutual funds(for when I retire but still won't be old enough to touch the 401k), money market savings(which I need to close cause my checking makes more interest now), and a life ins policy on my wife and I that has cash value. Plus I own a rental house, theres nothing like having someone else pay a mortgage for ya and put money in your pocket on top of it... I just turned 25 and I get to laugh at all my friends who are all older than me and still making ridiculous car payments(I've never made a car payment nor do I plan to) and living in rentals or apartments and still struggling when we all work together and make the same amount of money(most of them actually make more cause they get forced to do overtime and I don't anymore)

Well that thousand is bs always will be. Its a gimmick but if you are in an apartment I wouldn't recommend a velodyne sub. My neighbors house is about 50ft between the houses and they comPlain they can feel the bass all the way over there so I'm sure your neighbors would hate you

I spend about 1/6 of what I make, and save the rest... If you have the ability to save more than that.... do it....

I graduated college with a 10k headstart, and I have grown that to about 50k 3 years after college..... This is pure money I have placed into savings and liquid investments...

With that money, I still do not have the ability to comfortably move out...

Buying gaming systems and TV's is not a good way to get ahead.

I just have a standard 3.4 quad core setup with a 1GB gddr5 video card.. Running 4GB of DDR3 ram... And I dont want to worry about the whole water thing because the computer itself gets moved alot and thats just one extra worry. As for monitors I dont use it all that often to need more than my one 24" widescreen lol

Yes to this. You may not think it's a great idea now, but someday you will wish you had that extra money you were blowing on useless stuff. Or save it and pay back school loans (if you have any).
