century tail lights on a regal?

i was looking at a century parked by my lot, and the tails look to be the same i had the cars side by side, the century's tail light corners and the red trunk part were trimmed with chrome,(and i like it) so does any one know if the century tails fit a regal, and is it possible to remove the ls emblem from the center trunk part?

i did search for the tails on ebay and when you check if this part will fit area, it says it dont fit, but they look the same on the outside at least.
