So, you dared click the link to my free couch. Well, let's be honest here... it is, in my opinion, a hideous color and pattern, but I was in need when I got it for free, so I didn't really care. This couch can best be compared to Lieutenant Dan towards the end of the movie "Forrest Gump". Why, you ask? Because they've both been through battle, came out looking worn and tired with a few scars, and they both don't have any legs. No offense to you if you don't have any legs, I was just pointing out similarities. Actually, if you don't have legs, this may be just the couch for you since it's a lot closer to the ground. I actually doubled up 2x4's on each end since they hid under the skirt and it worked perfect. However, the sofa I just acquired from Craigslist myself is also a Lt. Dan of sorts, so I had to transfer this couch's prosthetic limbs to the one I just got.

So, about it being worn and tired with a few scars. The cushions have tears in them and so does one of the arms. It could use a good cleaning. Oh! And did I mention that I am also a smoker and have dogs too? I've been meaning to quit, but it's tougher than it sounds. Cigarettes that is, not dogs. I love dogs, Pugs more specifically, we've got three of them. They are great dogs, but a lot of times like to just lay around on the couch, a lot like me when I get home from work. No cats though, so it's got that going for it.

By now, you may be asking yourself, "Why would I want this couch?" Well, that's a good question, but one I can answer. It is SUPER comfortable! It just swallows you up and most times, I just fall asleep on it at the end of the night. Eventually, I wake up early in the AM and drag myself to bed. This couch might say it was made by Benchmark, but I swear it was assembled by the Sandman himself. It can turn just about anyone into an instant narcoleptic. As for the hideous color, pattern and various stains, they make sofa covers for these sort of things. Slip a cover over this thing and it's a great couch for a basement, college dorm, or any place you wouldn't want people sitting on "the good furniture". If you don't decide to cover it, it would be a terrific couch for your next bonfire. I bet this thing would really make a big fire and burn super hot! Best of all, it's absolutely free and still better than sitting on the floor.
