On the 4th of July I picked up a 1990 Honda CBR 600F for $900

21k on it and body was in okay shape, all new tires, needs a fuel pump and a battery, and the guy took out the fiberglass baffling in the pipe.

Bike has K&N intake and jets and a Kerker pipe.

Today I bought a new battery, ordered the fuel pump, ordered fiberglass baffling, painted it, put a HID in it.

Tomorrow I will finish up all the loose ends and actually bolt on the front end lol.

Not Bad are you going to put the 600F decal back on it ? The exhaust looks way better! I kinda liked the white on the back tho.

You can run bikes with out a pump..

I have heard it run and drove it already..

The paint was not very good before even though the picture says different.

Why the f2 or f3? Ive had a ton of these bikes (9 or so....I used to work at a honda dealer and bought all the insurance bikes) They are great bikes but most of them have been beat on pretty bad by now. Why not look for a f4 or newer, gsxr also had some nice riding bikes from that same time frame. The R6 has a pretty harsh stance although a pretty bike not that comfortable to ride. Always been a big cbr fan! Happy hunting bio

because it's not for me and jackie doesn't need anything that makes any good amount of power.

here is the final trimmed piece. i actually moved the stock plate light up into the rear fairing, but it was too big as a whole so the cover came off and its just the bulb hanging out into the air right now. i dont drive in the rain so it's cool, but i'll put a cover on it at some point so it won't get screwed up.

over the winter im trimming it off more and moving the plate to the unused exhaust mount on the clutch side of the bike, but this will do for now. it lights up really nice at night, just like it should stock.

still need to do something about those rear turn signals...like an LED integrated tail...

Looking good guys! Makes me wanna get one.

My best man \ best friend had a CBR 600 F4i in college. I loved riding that thing. Only rode it 5 times but it was a blast. Fit me like a glove to until he raised the rear shock for his tall arse.
