Your dad knows how to get **** done brutha.
That is the process I'd take when I would detail cars for people a couple years ago during the summer.
He a professional detailer in his spare time
One of these days im gonna buy myself a porter cable buffer and go to town on my car. After practicing on something like a trunk deck or something from a junkyard car.
Clean car though.
Whoa please explain these rock noises! Where are they coming from and how did you fix it? Because for the past month or so i have been getting this weird noise coming from the front(im pretty sure) part of my car. It only happens once in a while but the way i can explain it, for about 2-3 seconds it sounds like some rocks are getting thrown around under my hood. What was the cause of this? thanks
heres a vid of how to change it, its so easy, just wear latex gloves when you do it, the old oil stinks bad, and will stay with you for a while if you get it on your hands, get some brake cleaner and clean the inside of everything with it, dry it up and slap it back together.

EDIT: quick tip on latex gloves, wear 3 pairs at a time, they always tear.
Hey thanks for the vid i appreciate it. Actually doesnt look all that difficult at all. time to order my coupler then
get 2 bottles of the gm sc oil, from the dealer.
i got mine off ebay for 20 bucks and 180 for shipping, zzp is like 40, so its up to you there.
mines a year old in august and its still holding up well
The supercharger coupler. It's the green thingy in the first pic. They usually do it more at idle from what i've heard.
its the supercharger coupler the Green thing in the first picture
Yea i usually only get it when idling/coasting. Im guessing its going bad and its a good idea to replace it?
my coupler was so bad, and i got my car for 800 bucks that way, i told the guy for all i know i may have to replace the s/c on this thing, and what do ya think thats gonna cost??? it was a used car lot, they wanted 1800 for it and with all the front end work and abs lights on and cel light on and air bag light on, i go to him, ill give ya 600 for it, he says i got make a call, comes back says 900, i say 800 and thats it,,SOLD!
Yep easy do it
Can you just change the coupler? Or am i going to have to get a new SC?
suck the oil out, remove the 10-15 bolts on the snout, change coupler. bolt it back up and use some anerobic sealer on the gasket and then fill with new oil and thats it.
