All the analysts are half and half on this how deal. Some say $3 or less again, others say $5 or more and thats it.
I say, like last time they will find that breaking point and that will make it tumble again.
I'm okay with $60 fill ups for now, When I get to $100 for fill-ups I will complain.
@ 4.37/gal for 94 octane on 18 gallon tank it's already $78.66 to fill upI'm quite sure it's already more than that in other parts of the country. It costs $60 to fill up a civic let alone a grand prix lol......
OMG how dry to you let yours get? I put in 14g when its on the line for E, usually when it starts to get close its at 12g and I fill up because lower fuel means more chance of the strainer getting clogged or the pump sucking up gunk and messing up quicker... I just filled up and it was just under $60 with me buying a drink too
The thing that bugs me most is when people come into QuikTrip yelling at me about how i'm screwing them with these gas prices. lol i'm just a part time clerk, do you really think i have a say in the gas prices? idiots...haha
but i fill up every 2 weeks or so, usually when i get just below 1/4 tank...and it usually costs me $35-45, which i'm okay with for now i guess...sucks but necessary. Prices are usually hovering around the $4 mark for 93 octane here, went up to 4.19 yesterday though. :-(
I usually fill it up and drive it till I have a gallon or two left. I know it's not good for the pump but I don't really worry about it. Car hasn't given me 1 trouble since I bought it. I honestly don't fill it up often either because I don't drive it but a couple times a week. Tank lasts me a pretty long time, usually drive it to see the in laws with the wife. It's highway mileage, I got 30.4 mpg on a 4 hr trip I did recently, runs good on 94 octane, never even seen .1* knock.
Usually it's the people that have to drive everyday in city + traffic that are complaining about gas costs in these cars. That and the people that are constantly downshifting their transmissons to hear the blower![]()
Again, I dont know what gas costs today.
I just know I wont be getting much for $50.
I like how crude oil has been dropping in price and we added like 3.5million barrels of it to the reserve this year but gasoline production has gone down 8% so does this mean gas is expensive because nobody feels like making any or because oil investors are playing god saying oil might be more expensive in a few months so lets raise prices just in case.... I need to get a bicycle lol
1998 GTP 88k herelast time I put gas in my car I actually put $40.00 in and it got me 9.2 gallons. As I filled up I was watching other people filling their cars/trucks up and they all had disgusted looks on their faces. Face it people the oil companies have the consumer by the balls. Nothing we can say or do about it either. It's as simple as budgeting your monthly gas costs into your budgets. When I graduated high school it was $0.95 per gallon I could fill my 900rr up for less than 4 bucks. I do miss those days but we still have my wifes honda that gets 37+mpg probably will have it for a while because of this reason. I hate driving it because it's slow as sin but it does drive nice and when you get 130+ miles before you come off full we'd be stupid to sell it.......
im pretty lucky, i only have to drive 8 miles a day for work and get to telework a bit too, im in two weeks i drive about 56 miles, its all that damn do i want to go somewhere other than work and home **** that kills me, oh and the track. 2001 with just under 80K
you gotta pay to play. when i run outta money i'll quit playing lol. it's getting pretty ridiculous, especially now that i'm driving almost 300 miles a week and i'm not nice to my car at all. over a tank of gas a week hurts, but i can budget for it and it's ok. i think it would be more of an issue if i had days off to spend money, but if i did, i would have more money to spend because i wouldn't be paying for gas. so i'm good for now haha
Its 3.87 here i spend about 150 bucks a week yes i said week lol. I drive 55 miles one way for work so yeh gas prices sux balls. It takes about 75 bucks to fill up. Mine is a 06 with 168k so im epic win. Dont help the wife takes the car to her moms about 4 times a week and she lives 20 miles away![]()
There is somtihng very corrupt behind the gas prices, and at somepoint in the future it will be a ribber band effect where it may not have an imiediate impact on lifestyles but it will come snapping back, and hard.
