I originally took the car to the mechanic thinking I'd spend some money and fix the obnoxious noise coming from one of the pulleys. He ends up telling me to come back later when it's worse/louder so he can pinpoint it...Yeah so I left there without spending any money. I head over to the GM Dealer to get some Supercharger Oil and I wanted to see if I was still eligible for any of their recalls. Turned out I was still eligible for their "Engine Compartment Fire Recall". He told me I'd have to leave the car there for a few hours for them to get it done. I am probably going to leave it there another time.

I also asked him how much it would cost to get the whole car checked out, he said $100, which I am pretty sure is a bit steep...

The most interesting thing though is the second page he handed to me, which had the transaction history. Before I bought the car, it belonged to someone else for about 8-10 years, and before that, it was a fleet car. Well, I am looking at this paper and something catches my attention, I thought that the transmission had always been the same, but it turns out, it seems like before the GM fleet sold the car to the previous owner, they replaced that transmission. So instead of it having 120k miles, it has about 90-100k, which I am pretty content with

Does anyone know what they change exactly with that recall?
