I had to get my Grandpa to co-sign for the loan, but he said it would get me thru college (got the car start of senior year) and he would help if I got into a bind with payments. His thought was as long as I was in school to make something of myself, a nice car would be a good thing to boost morale, and he could pay it off without a second thought so it didn't matter to him about the money.

I had to work my ass off to be able to afford it but It was worth it, alot of kids in HS had nicer cars than me, I won't lie, but most were either working their ass off too or had rich parent to buy it for them. You could tell the difference, dirty sports car or luxury cars that weren't cared for vs the clean everyday nice sounding well maintained cars being paid for by hard work and dedication.

Independence is different. I always thought your parents were supposed to be there for you? I am good on paying back. That's no problem. It's just that I wouldn't be able to get an amount like that on my name. Even though once I turn 18 I will be making 1200-1400 a month.
Burger flippers make more than that on average here, Actually.
That insult of a wage for an assistant chef could throw anyone for a loop.

It's only because I can't be fully certified until I'm 18. Like I said would start earning 1200 a month just from that

What a shiitty day. I just...hate college. It's overwhelming and irritating and what bothers me the most is...voluntary. I don't have the motivation to do anything and the drums are getting louder. I try to get books today and I made a plan, a budget, and then the books I selected are gone, so I would have to buy new. How am I supposed to do any fvckin homework without books?
On top of that jazz, there's homework I don't understand, there's tests I'm having that I'm not even sure what's being tested. We haven't done much of anything.

    This is me allllll day

Soo... yeah. And I have to work tonight and that just cuts my time even shorter. I've got bills, the house, which I'm near giving up on. I can't make a grown man take care of legal matters. I just can't. If he can't do it, then I can't either. I thought I could help him, but you can't help everyone. I just don't understand how you can procrastinate about A HOUSE. It's not a dinner date, it's an asset. It's not something you can procrastinate on. Jesus! Incompetence just really burns my biscuits!

But I'm just ranting, so let me be. I'll be fine later. I just feel like a lost little monkey in a world that I don't even like juggling balls that I couldn't care less about.

You know there is a different thread for that j/p j/p

Sorry to head that Brando, I know you've been kicked in the balls repeatedly over the house, but as you said. Sometimes you just can't help someone. I hope things work out for you but you need to setup a backup plan on the whole house thing if you haven't already. School sux, GF is a nursing student, I understand your complications thru her lol. But you can't focus right if you can't get your head out of the other problems.

    Ah, thanks guys. It helps

I do have a plan B if the house falls through... a few plan Bs. One of which may be me chucking it all and moving to Michigan but that would piss a lot of people off so I'm trying to avoid that one. But it's little things right now. Like these damn text books. It's pay $70 today and get book today or pay $25 and get book sometime later via mail. Idk which to do...

Good, plan B's are always a good idea.

As far as the books go, if you have any friends in any of the classes see if they can help with the book work, alot of college students understand things like "Backordered Books" *wink wink nudge nudge* and will help out a fellow classmate. Especially girls if you can flirt a little and play the sympathy card at all. Buy some time and save money and order the ones you can, the ones you HAVE TO HAVE because everyone in class is a dick and the teacher hates you and there is a test tomorrow, buy that book now.

Well there's a test Monday (actually 2. one I'm gonna fail regardless of a book. so whatever.) and honestly I don't have enough time to go borrow/share someone's book and read what I have to read. I'm behind, I need to catch up over the weekend.
