This day is dragging on
I need help guys.
Sold something on eBay, auction ended Friday at 7pm. Person didn't pay after I sent the invoice 2 times, Saturday and Sunday. So on monday I sent a message saying that they had until Wednesday to pay or I was canceling the transaction and probably report her. Well she messages me right back and said sorry I was out of town, I will pay now. I still haven't gotten payment and its now Wednesday.
I'm sorry, but she only bid on it right at the end so she really has no excuse to not have paid.
So its 2 days later still with no communication. Is it fair of me to send another message stating that if I don't get paid by oh...9pm that I am canceling and reporting her?
I've never been in this situation before.

Nope, it let's other sellers restrict her i think
I'd cancel it then report her for non payment and wasting your time well I'd leave the last part out.
i would definitely cancel it.
i dont know if i would report her though. depends on her response after you cancel it.
I would cancel it and report her regardless, "Out of town" is no excuse. She bought it, she could have messaged you then. I have on several occasions waited until the end on ebay purchases and if nobody else was bidding or bought it, would buy now, and then message the seller and request time to pay (usually payday end of the week) as I didn't want to miss the opportunity. Every time, being honest and upfront, I have been alloted to the end of the weekend and always paid.
It wouldn't have been more than a minute to send a message while they still had internet and was logged in, to say, "Hey, I want it but will be out of town and out of touch, can I have until xx-xx-2013 to pay it. If not I understand and you can cancel/re-list it, I just didn't want to miss out on a good opportunity."
Not hard.
She's playing games, if she wants it that badly let her re-purchase it.
I had the same experience. I opened up a case with eBay and the buyer was forced to pay. They got their product and I got my money lol
I'm not relistibg it on eBay, I can get more for item elsewhere now. So ill just cancel it, report her and be on my way
