Idk but im new lol
There's always GPF drama lol
Ask Matt LE-FAG Palm about being ban hammered
Or Sven Sexman and is over 100k posts
It's all just fun
on most fourms there is always drama some people don't know where to leave the drama at
Back in the day on the 3000GT I used to post on our motto (stolen from TNT) was "We Know Drama"
We have fun round here.
Those of us who have been around long enough remember some actual drama (aka TDC)
stuff lately is jokes and shenanigans that some people either A) take too far or B) get butt hurt over.
Still fun times :)
Had a good weekend with the fam we've had a lot of laughs. Memaws not doing well again, not hospital bound but her anemia is gettin the best of her. Needs an iron transfusion and could be up to 2 months before she feels any better. I feel so bad because I'm leaving soon.
Michigan countdown: 6 days!
Iron transfusion?
Typically you'd want red blood cells. Thus blood transfusion, but not until hemoglobin was dangerously low.
Or eat lots of liver. Lots of iron there.
Yeah dont pass out on them they might freak out
What was the main function of this thread? Just try to get it back on track randomness
Who are you people and where is my horse?!
:th_oldtimer:
I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts
Lit a Ford Taurus on fire during an oil change. That was fun.
It went like like. My parents cars typically hate me and I've grown fond of hating the cars back. StepMomster needed an oil change and they were again going to bring it somewhere when they got to it instead of picking up the phone and asking if I could do it. As their kid, I'm all about helping....dammit don't wait until I stop over to tell me you need help with 100 different things though. Give me a heads up and we can plan ahead.
Anyhow.. Mid 2k's Taurus with Flexfuel. Ford engineers decided to toss the filter on the side of the block directly under the curve of the exhaust. End of the filter is nearly touching the top edge of the starter. I pop the plug on the pan and take my trust filter wrench for smaller filters (metal strap with swivel handle) up top with me. Reach in around the hot exhaust with my right hand and slip the strap over the filter. One good loosen and it seems loose enough to use my hand. Slide the strap down the filter and ZAP, POW...ZAP.. RRRRRR (starter turning slowly over) flames from the oil on the motor. Tried a few long moments to free the strap. Finally got it to break free.
The positive cable runs nearly on top of the starter and ...there is no protection over it where it bolts to the starter... less than 1/8-1/4" from the end of the oil filter. When I tried taking the strap off, it hit the exposed end and welded then arched etc.
Had that happened anywhere outside of my garage, I'd have turned and walked away. Once read an article in Motor Trend. FBI's Fords Better Ideas.
Ford you get my thumbs up on this one.
Think they did that to sell more cars. (Mental note never change the oil on a mid 2k taurus cuz it might burn) but i do agree with you just ot walk away from it and then say it was like that when I got here.LOL
Plan #337 for when I'm filthy rich:
Diablo-themed resort and park. Stay a week in our luxurious tavern and battle the forces of chaos.
LMK when you do that. I have a couple of friends that would be right there in line waiting for the door to open.
LOL Does dan still have his big hammer over on the ol Bonnie forum?
