I mean I had a great attitude with him, I've been pulled over somewhere in the neighborhood of 10, 11 times now and I agree, you attract more flies with honey. Hell out of all those times, I've gotten 3 speeding tickets including tonight's. So I must be doin something right, in a wrong kinda way lol.

But something I am confused about, suppose you say not guilty do they go to trial and then you provide evidence or is it more just of a way to get it dropped. In my experience, I've always been offered a better deal just for being present and then plead guilty to it. So idk, learn me wise sir.

In PA we have district magistrates we go to for traffic offenses. If you plead guilty you just pay the fine by mail. If you plead not guilty you appear at the distict magistrate on the specified date to either argue your case, or attempt a plea deal.

I forgot about the one time I got pulled over by a complete douche bag cop for "not running a front bumper" on my Stealth. I had just eaten transmission number two a week before and had to tow it home from the track. It's on coilovers and dropped a good amount so the only way to get it on the tow dolly was to remove the front bumper cover. Anyway, I went home, looked up the offense he wrote me up for, looked more into it, took pictures of the car, and prepped for pleading not guilty.

I went to to the DM, listened to the cop, then when asked for a rebuttle I provided my evidence. The judge looked at the cop then at me and told me to get out of there the ticket was dismissed.

The other two tickets I plead not guilty to were speeding tickets. The one I didn't even have to say anything, the cop already had a new ticket made out for me. The original offense was for 70 in a 55. I walked in the judge said talk to the officer, he offered me a new ticket for 5 over and that was that.

The other I went in, the judge was running late. The cop was sitting there so I talked to him and said, "Look, I was speeding, you and I both know that. I don't give a damn about the fine, I'll pay that, I just don't want the points." We waited around a little longer and when it was 30 minutes past the time the hearing was supposed to start the officer wrote me a new non-points ticket.

yup, you plead not guilty, it goes to a trial. you need a lawyer. most of the time.

ive gone to court and had charges tossed out right there, no fines, laughed at the cop on the way out too. all because of a pic i took of a sign. and a pic of my truck, and a copy of my gvw on my registration.

they had this sign up with no left lane deal over 6,000 gvw i was driving a pick up gvw of 5,000. with 4 wheels. that cop was bored that day or something.

PS I have never used a lawyer and never recieved any points. All 3 times I went to court the ticket was either completely thrown out or reduced.

most of the time i would go wait on line to talk to the prosecutor and work out a plea deal with the cop. always got something off if not dropped. some times they just bend you over and hit you dry still. then they like this thing called court costs to add on your bill. like a tip for the judge.

if you dont agree to it, and still plead not guilty its full blown case, witness box, evidence. the whole deal. like they advise you go get a lawyer. cause the prosecutor is a lawyer, and hes gonna eat you up 99% of the time if you defend your self over a big charge.

Yep, that's my thing I'd have to have a lawyer. I got one ticket dismissed, and then the other two I just asked the judge if he could offer me something to keep the points off and I did driving school. Well in the meantime you get a 6 month must be ticket free kinda bit. Yeah, well, bent that rule. Hopin it just gets dismissed. Most of the time we're lined up down the halls and they have some noob come and toss out all the bs tickets or whatever before you even get to the court room.

But I know I was speeding, it's wrong no need for a lecture. I just hate that I try to keep my speed down and the one time you let your guard down there sits smokey bear. :(

in a case like yours, here they would nail you hard. because you didn't learn your lesson. they are assholes like that. then he'll belittle you in front of the whole court room to make an example out of your ass.

well idk. pretty sure I could go to court and get it reduced without points. memphis is petty lenient. We have some cop regulars at work I might try to ask them whats up. And stepmom is a probation officer so if she can somehow talk to the judge or whoever she needs to talk to, might not have to fool with it.

I just don't get pulled over/ticketed. Problem solved.

Now I'm 266. I guess I need to open up a little.

Was doin brakes on mom's honda crv today. She has a locking lug nut. Well the fronts were fine. But someone has impacted the lug nuts on and they impacted the locking lug nut too. Well the key is stripped out on the rear ones so it's gonna take a torch and some working to get it off. So I did her front brakes and oil change but not the back brakes. Effin honda.

What pisses me off and why I'm so mad is...of course *I* didn't know that it was stripped. And I put all my 115 pound weight on the 4 way because that's all I have. And when the locking key popped off, I landed on my arm and my back. So I pulled something in my back and I'm sore. Tomorrow's gonna be a *****.
