we have 2 drainage ditches that run along the side and the back of our house and spiders like to populate them. When it gets cold they migrate into the house to keep warm. Those suckers can get quite big. i killed one last night in the bathroom and it was just about as big as the top of a pop can.

Brown house spiders and wolf spiders? Or something more sinister? Ooh, or maybe you've got giant house spiders?

I recently had these cats start showing up. Southern house spiders. According to wikipedia, females are rarely out and about, but that's almost exclusively what is in the middle of my bathroom floor at 3am while I'm half asleep and naked. They're probably the cutest spider I've ever seen, at any rate. They're also apparently nearly blind and can't bite through human skin.

My area isn't too bad. It is a starter house, so I am not too concerned. We will be moving in a few years once the children out-grow the house.

Yay starter houses! I love my townhouse except for the whale that lives next door that tramples her poor steps and then tries to take the front door with her when she leaves.

My little boy just turned 4 on Monday and we have another on due in March, so we will be looking for new houses in I would say 3-4 years or sooner. I have been doing some small upgrades here and there. Just redid the bathroom and kitchen a few months ago. Still need to put down the transition pieces from the carpet to the "fake" wood floor and the 1/4 round trim pieces too. I'm not it too much of a hurry. The next project will be the spare room which will soon be the new babies room.

I hate that the nicest room in any house is "the baby's room." Why? The baby doesn't care.

it's not going to be the nicest. It just needs some putty work and a fresh coat of paint. The forest with deer border just isn't going to cut it.....

1978. The bathroom hadn't been remodeled since it was new either. Overall the house needs some TLC, but not much. We just refinanced and it appraised for what we bought it at. A little disappointed, but at least it didn't drop in value. I think once we get the entire house done it will appraise for a little bit more, plus hopefully the housing market will come up then.

So I test drove a G8 GT today. Disappointed that the sales guy went with me. Especially because he was like 70 and was freaking out the whole time even though I wasn't speeding or anything. Didn't get it above 55 :/ but it does ride really nice. Gonna go back saturday and see if I can drive it alone. Probably didn't help that I went with two other 18 year olds lol.

Well how was it lol. I seriously don't think I got more than half throttle. Although it spun the tires pulling out of a parking spot at like 5% throttle lol
