WOw... Got home from a work last night at 11pm.... Now Im back at it at my normal time of 7am... Btw I went in yesterday at 7am... and I only got a half day off for it...

Meh it was a one day thing. It sually never happens that way. Usually im out of the office by 4 everyday. Just had something come up. May I say today is dragging horribly!!! but its almost lunch time

Where I go out with my boss for over an hour and BS about random crap :P

new boss aka old friend asked if I had time to get lunch today. I'm in! Only issue.. it's onsite and no beverages.

I can never drink... Stupid random tests including breathalizer.... But i dont mind wasting some work time

I'm not having a good day at work...
I've been on the clock since 8, and won't get off till after 10 due to today being the day I'm blessed with working 2 jobs and having to attend a paid board meeting after the 2nd job.

Hey hopefully its worth the money. Like I said i got a hlaf day on friday out of it. Which means getting out at noon on whats supposed to be a beautiful day... I can only hope

Today is just a sad day all together.
On Friday night, there was a 4 yr old boy shot and killed.
He was fishing at a pond with his dad and his friends and the drunk neighbor was getting annoyed by the flashlight the little boy was holding...so he started shooting at the light.
A bullet hit Jake in the head and he died 4 hours later.
He was born at 3:16am on August 24, 2006 and he passed away at 3:16am on July 22, 2011. 1 month and 2 days shy of his 5th birthday.
His mother was in my class at high school, his father a grade above.
He was the sweetest little boy and left this world to early.

Anywho, the viewing is today and funeral tomorrow.
Its just a sad day thinking about it because its all anyone around town is talking about.

Sorry for the extended post, I just needed to tell someone the reasoning for my sad, sad day.

sorry to hear that, some people just don't deserve to breath he same air as the rest of us! i hope that drunk asshole is going to spend the rest of his life in jail, you got death penalty there in indy? if not this is one that deserves it bad!

that's just wrong. bad things seem to happen to good people and those that don't deserve them. i hope he gets his fair punishment.

Sadly, around here you get more punishment for handing out Vicodin than you do for killing someone. They arrested him for "reckless homicide". He had the first trial yesterday and last I heard last night was if he got convicted of both counts...he could get maybe 8 years. I'm on the fence for death penalty/life but seriously....please be behind bars more than 8 yrs for killing a 4 year old boy you drunk *&^$%%$%$**^!!!!!! This isn't the guys first time in jail or in court. He has a history of being in trouble. AND he was/is on probation for something and wasn't even supposed to have that gun.

I know that this sadly happens all the time, it just hits a little harder when its close to home. I drove by the elementary school where the viewing was being held on my way between jobs and the parking lot was packed. Brought a tear to my eye.

damn around here you get 8 years for having a gun with out proper permits and all that, and if hes on probation/parole he should be do at least 30 years total if not more.

Wow.. I cant even think about anything but that lil boys family now.. My daughter just turned 5.. I dont know what I would do iif this were happening to me.. :(

20 minutes left of work and the clock is ticking as slow as I have ever seen it... Theres a new map pack out today.. and i only have to work 4 hours tomorrow morning... can I just leave yet?
