There was a really bad accident locally yesterday. A work van rear ended a Amish horse and buggy killing 2 and leaving 2 others in serious condition. Kid driving the van is 22ish, and admitted to texting when the accident happened.

Never said anything about the horse, cuz I wondered the same thing. Just a bad deal all around. Should know better to pay attention for Amish, especially on the road it happened on. It's the 3rd rear ending accident in a year in Berne. All 3 due to vehicle driver neglect.
30% of Adams county population is Amish.
My buddies girlfriend hit an amish one time in high school. A lot of times they don't have their lights on. My uncle hit one too.
