Can't I just run a wire from the 12v cigarette lighter to a momentary switch to the reverse lights?

Just mount some KC daylighters on your rear deck. Then they wont see them with tinted windows. And they will be brighter then the reverse bulbs.

They may have lacked fried food but it was a remarkable experience, absolutely worth it. I miss everything so much, including "blue place" which was the local lounge/bar that was priced just right for my every night drinking.
