i voted 4-6, but totally was willing to make the drive to branson which was going to be 10 hours....
I might make the drive, but it really depends on where I'm at when it is scheduled. I'm seriously considering a move to take on a better job in Georgia. Only 2 weeks paid vacation a year if I do though, and I won't be willing to use it on car shows, it will be spent visiting family back in MI and SC.
how about everyone comes to iowa for teh Iowa W-Body Meet :) problem solved lol
I voted: I wouldn't go to a meet with you clowns.
Why in the world would I drive 8 1/2 hours to hang out with 50 dudes? Are you hearing what you are saying? That doesn't make sense! I won't even drive 8 1/2 hours to see my sister more than once a year!
I can grill out and go to the drag strip here, and I'm only driving MAYBE an hour, both ways. And I get to sleep in my own bed. lol
Honestly, if I were loaded and had some vacation time to burn, I'd probably make the trip. I'm not loaded, and I don't have vacation time, so I won't be driving to Iowa. The Ohio meet, however, is a little more plausible for me given my current situation.
It's about supporting your group of cars...meeting new people...having a good time.
Forum meets are always 99% sausage fests...not sure what find of meets you go to...how many involve a over population of women? And don't say Jenny Craig...that sh1t don't count.
If you dont want to go to a meet dont post in a meet thread. OMG logic is amazing.
^^^^ exactly!!! its all about supporting your forum and the car you are driving. If u dont wanna come to the meet than dont b1tch about it lol
I would love to go to a meet just to see what its like and such. And this posible ohio one is only a 2.5 hr drive for me, so its do-able. Its just the whole "sausage fest" part and not knowing anyone, cuz I'm shy. Like everyone else, a lot depends on my situation come that time.
No one is shy when they are drunk. Which is what we'll be. Guaranteed a good time. LOL
Haha, yes that is always a good time.
September is just a long time for me to plan. Plus, the boyfriend farms with his family...and september is when he gets busy. So if he can't go, I can't say that I'll make it cuz I don't wanna make the trek solo.
So keeping fingers crossed he wont be in the fields and he'll want to go :)
Hey are you talking about tri state?
That is correct.
Sweet that's like a 20 minute drive for me lol ill be there
I wanted to post the first one, "I wouldn't go to a meet with you clowns" :th_laugh-lol2:
But realistically I would drive to OKC or Tulsa which is 2.5-3hrs away... But probably not much further, I would go to Dallas Tx but theres few people from the Dallas area so that unlikely to happen.
4-6 max from chicago
