So about two weeks after I've been able to drive my car, I think I've fixed everything mechanically that it needs.

This is what I've done so far:
    • Replaced the Sway Bar
    • Changed the Supercharger Belt
    • Did a coolant flush
    • Replaced the thermostat
    • Replaced Spark Plugs and Wires
    • Changed Oil Filter and Oil
    • Changed Fuel Filter

Only thing that needs changing would probably be another belt. Other than that though, I think I am good for now. Of course, there's little interior things that need work, like a new stereo, new speakers, a new rear view mirror, a new sunroof motor, and a new window, master control panel.

I'll be doing my first mod tomorrow, which will be the Open Cone Intake.

Just need help deciding what I should do next. Should I do something else mechanically that I dont know of? Should I start on the stereo and speakers? Should I do lights? I was thinking 6000K HIDs.

Comments, suggestions, concerns(lol) would be appreciated.

Exhaust was something I was considering but there were a few reasons I didnt include it in the original message.

I had a hole in the resonator, and that sound got annoying pretty fast. A nice little gurgle is nice, but other than that, it's too obnoxious and it's either the little gurgle or having it as a sleeper. I already hear enough loud exhausts since I am right next to a main street.

That and the fact that I dont want to spend ~$1000 for an exhaust system. I heard I could find one ~$300, but I am highly doubting that.

I am not quite following, so I cut off my current ones and weld on the new ones when/if I find new ones? What different does that make?

I also put in the open cone intake today, froze my butt off and didnt quite do the best job on it. It could've looked better but I am not complaining. I love the sound it gives off though <3

I also had ANOTHER Check Engine Light come on in the morning today :\

I'll probably have to check it out on Tuesday and hope to God its nothing too big.

no gain NUTHING from changing the cat-back system.

only do muffers if you want a sound change. And yes you would have to have them welded on.

Nah, I happy with the current sound the straight pipe is giving me from replacing the resonator.

    I dont like loud cars.

What exactly does the U Bend do, how does it help in removing it, and what do I replace it with? I'am probably gonna pass on the headers, heard they were pretty expensive.

Oh wow, I honestly thought they were much more than that. I can definitely work with that.

What do headers do exactly though?

PS they are speed daddy headers, look for them on ebay or just google them. And i would skip the Downpipe unless you are really short on cash, since its only like $80 more for headers, which are way better.

I think I've figured out exactly what I want to do with my car.

I want to do enough mods to it where it can have some power to it but at the same time, reliable enough as my DD. It's a car I plan on keeping as long as it's willing to stay alive, because I dont plan on buying a car anytime soon until this one completely dies on me.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely have to dedicate some of my time to ready whatever I can on this forum if I plan to learn anything. I am really appreciating your help.
