It started life in TN (A daytona? Can't be, lol) where it stayed for about two years, then moved up to CT for a bit, then it went to pensyltucky for I THINK 6 years and change. Then made it's way back here for about 8 months before the guy put it up on CL about 3 months ago(has to be the same car, daytonas are uncommon and it had the same rotors and the ad said it was never driven in winter, which I checked out underneath it and it's near mint, no rust at all). Then the guy traded it in the torrington hyundai dealership where I snagged it. I'm the fifth owner surprisingly but this car is near mint and it looks like as S.M said it was modded in the right way. I think it might have a tune as well since this thing screams when it downshifts but I need to swing by purpledino motorsports to confirm this haha. Whenever I get to exhaust mods i'll check the gaskets to see if they've been replaced at one point to see if something else was there at one point.

Any help would be great guys, I just want to see if I can talk to someone that knows all the mods to it even if it had 4 other owners.

You can run a car fax.

I did years back, and it listed some service records or something where it traced it back to a local dealership where it was originally purchased. I had a friend that worked there, and I gave him the VIN, and he told me the original owners name and last address they had on file etc. I was the second owner of my GTP, and the whole time, it stayed in the city of Wichita.

The dealer can't really do that...but once they saw the guys name, they remembered him, and I guess he was a real a$$hole to work with, so they didn't mind passing the info along. LOL

Not that I needed all that they gave me, I could really care less WHO exactly owned my car. All i could tell you from the crap I cleaned out of the GTP was the guy had kids, and was a messy slob. I told my friend this, and though he didn't remember kids, they said the other description fit him.

Yeah I saw the carfax, which told me where it was, for how long etc. I'm not looking to know the previous owner/s on a personal level, i'm just interested in finding out what else has been done to it. Who knows, the mods listed in my sig. may have been all that's done, I just want to see if I can find out for sure.
