I was coming home from work today and i made a half assed stop at a stop sign then realized a cop was sitting down the street. I saw him pull out fast and turn his lights on so I went a block then turned right at a street so I could just play dumb and hopefully get away from him. After sitting there for a little bit I thought that maybe he wasnt coming after me so I decided id just start heading home and the cop was running up and down streets looking left and right until he saw me and wipped a crazy u turn so once again i turned and headed to not be on the main roadway but realized he was coming around the corner...so for the next 5 minutes we went in circles around 5 blocks until I decided to turn out of this dumb circle he was chasing me round and head out a different way. I had to take the long way home but for tonight I am safe from a ticket.. I never sped going in circles with this cop or broke the law in any way so I hope when i go back to work tomorrow he doesnt give me crap saying i tried and run from him...

The only time he turned his lights on was to cut in front of traffic when he went from the curb to the street...So thats the long way to go home...

Also the sad thing about this is do they realy have nothing else to do then go in circles around the city with me? Keep in mind this town has 2500 people and 1 cop on duty...

The town is divided into 2 by a river so the only way to get to the other side is either take the extra 10 mile long way around or just go through the bridge across the water so if he was smart from the beginning he should have sat at the end of town on the other side and eventually i would have made it across by him or take the crappy 10 mile extra trip.

I played cat and mouse once with a cop. But I was in a cammed LS1 doing over 2 to 3 times the speed limit. Another cop ended up covering for me. Never do that one again. I was young and dumb and would've gotten out of the original ticket if I'd have paid attention to the fact that we were out of his jurisdiction cause I knew who he was and knew for a fact he wasn't allowed to go out where we were cause he'd been in trouble for it before.

And remember if you seen him again, deny everything They will even lie to get you to admit it, haha.

Reminds me of a story of my brother, got chased around the block and escaped, arrived home later in the evening and cruisers were waiting infront of his house....deyed everything saying someone must have taken his car while it was at a buddys house and nothin they could do except add the cars plates to the special interest to the police list.

Worst case he pulls you over for some BS excuse. Then deny it all. But do not be an idiot and half ass the stop again. He will be waiting for you to make a mistake again. Wisconsin cops can be real dicks.....

heck all cops can be dicks if you try to punk them!!! Trust me on that... You really want to weigh your options. From a simple rolling through a stop sign ticket to a Felony elude. Humm, I would just pull over and tell the truth. It's seems to work way better for me than lying and trying to BS them. JMO.

I know i live in a town with 3 other Grand Prix GTs just like mine and there is just under a population of 800 people. They are all the same color just different wheels. Its possible he'll never notice if there are other cars like yours running around.

Well in all honesty what ever does happen you deserve. You did half ass a stop as well as elude the officer. So if he does catch you, I will not feel sorry for you at all.
    But good luck!

As stated above he cant do anything to you. He didnt pull you over then. Therefore he cant give you a ticket after the fact. He has none of your personal information and if they do try to give you crap say someone else had your car that day... Granted he could pull you over and give you a ticket for say 5 over if you are doing it to be a dick or if you have a light out could issue that.

That being said you get what you get you did blow the sign lol

if the cop got your plate, he may apply for a criminal complaint for operating to endanger and speeding. your right doh he cant get you for failure to stop for police officer, but he can say that your reckless operation, the nature of the infraction and for the mere violations of motor vehicle infraction did not justify a high speed pursuit. since the officer have your plate#, you are identifiable. now what do you think the judge would say with such a focal point on an affidavit? good luck! hopefully he was asleep through most of his academy classes....

Never seen a cop sens a postcard, however I have seen them wait in front of a house. If he had his plates, he'd have his address and invite himself over for dinner.
