cant see that stuff at work because of the filter, but one thing:

have you ever worn etnies? they are nice for about a few months, then they fall apart at an increasingly rapid rate. they are CHEAP skate shoes. i feel that DC are the same way. the brands i stick to after trying a bunch of companies out: emerica and dvs.

also, if you want some nice 'going out' shoes, look into a pair of adidas. they are comfy and they look fairly classy with just about any outfit. ive got one pair of adidas that i wear when i go out to nicer bars, otherwise im always rocking my skate shoes because of pure comfort.

For skate shoes I still rock the Vans Rowley, last forever and very light, I skated for around 10 years and have had almost every damn shoe on the market and Etnies are among my least favorite. Try some DC's or DVS, the reason those fancy DC's fall apart is because all that mesh fancy **** can't take the abuse.

I've been wearing the same pair of $11 Converse Skate shoes for almost 2 years and still love 'em. I have a second pair of the exact same ones waiting for when I throw these out this spring/summer.

Adidas running shoes FTW bounce or microbounce. Asics suck I hated the new pair I got before I went to Afghanistan and regreted not taking my Adidas ones.

a set of flat bottomed nike's are NOT nice going out shoes. they are going to the club and hooking up with some hood rat shoes. besides, is this the 90s? no. sell your gangsta shoes.

and jordans? lol. have fun with your $120 pieces of ugly.

LMAO well first off they aren't "hook up with hood rat" shoes...and how are they gangsta shoes? Really? What classifies them as gangsta shoes? And obviously it isnt the 90's however they are going out shoes and they are flat bottomed BUT have a cushioned iside. Quite comfortable and they look good with just about anything you pair them with...Jordans on the other hand are bball shoes mainly. But i believe i was trying to sell the OP on the shoes and not you!!

    kthxbye!

not reading this thread because anyone else's opinion isn't of concern to me.

buy new balance, the majority of their products are manufactured in america. 574s are the way to go.

    97 GT - slow, rusty
93 CTD - more slow, less rust
