a while back i jacked my knee up pretty bad and had to have surgery on it. this was done at work so i had work comp and all that jazz. well ive been waiting for my PPI rating for my knee. this pretty much tells you what permanent damage is done which in my case is 7%. this means i get a check for $4,410. adding up all the rest of my money im getting plus my tax check this floats to a little over 6 grand. so now my modding budget is finally here. i was gonna use part of it to pay my car off but my payments are low so im not worried bout that and i think after 6 years of bad luck and crappy life i deserve my gp the way i want it. totally made my day.

Hood+shipping+prepwork+paint at good body shop say goodbye to a grand, just sayin!

Spend it while you got it you only live once, you'll kick yourself in the arse if you blow thru 6 g's and don't get your car done!

Its like 650-700 dollars shipped for a hood and 100 bucks to get it painted, if your going to pay more then 100 bucks to get a hood done you must be crazy

Seeing how I just hit a deer and bought this hood I think I'd know. The hood was $725 from 3800 performance, +$90 shipping to Ohio, there was about 3 hrs prepwork and getting the striker to function perfectly and paint. Not even close to $650-$700, if you take it to a average joe shmoe for paintwork expect average paintwork!

I will tell you this, if you like the GTX hood skip 3800 performance all together!!!

ASCD makes their hoods and they have it for $525 on sale right now. I found this out a day after 3800 Performance sold me the same hood from the same place for $200 more, they would not price match or send my money back. 3800 performance made up this bogus email how they didn't get their hoods from there. It's Stinger Fiberglass and it's the exact same address.

well for one i said custom hood. im not buyin a whole hood. i have friends in many places. ill prolly only spend bout 300 bucks on the hood. yes i know spending this on the gp may seem like a stupid move, but i make a decent amount for my standard of living and the fact that ive never been able to spoil myself im sayin **** it on this one and doin what i want with it.

amount per point of rating is different in each state. indiana pays a little over 600 per point. my dad had a 3 percent in florida froma neck injury and got bout 18k.

thats craziness. so because someone lives in a diff state they can get more than 4 times than the next man with less disability. whatd u do to urs... i shattered my left knee cap... ruptured quad tendon.. torn ACL. torn miniscus and ****ed up alotta other tendons in it. my leg basically folded backwards.. my toes almost touched my chest. the crunching sound was heard at about 50 yards away as my bone shattered. had 2 surgeries and 9 months of phys therapy. NEVER wanna go through that again. lived on a percocet and jagermeister diet for months.

over time with multiple injuries my knee cap wasnt aligned in the groove. this last one tore it out of the groove and i broke a chunk of my cap off. all they did was cut into my lower leg bone and move my **** back to center and threw a screw and rod in there. 6 months of therapy and some ultrams.

holy horror, howd that happen? knee injuries suck, mine ended my football playing as well as my track and field hopes. i over worked my knees, pushed them to hard and by the time i decided to see a doctor i had almost no cartilage left. and i thought that hurt, **** mang i dont know how you did it.
