So I saw in the rant threads there was one about Wisconsin and the snow and cold. After last night we got a ton of snow in Duluth, MN so I figured I would drive around and watch people have to dig they're cars out because they have extremely ****ty tires and found this car that is ****ed because its finals week and the car is semi-buried. This is why I love living in northern MN.

I was talking with people on campus and the average time for one person to dig their car out averaged 45 minutes. So I see that by just having winter tires that I saved 45 minutes of my life today by not doing a menial task

i highly doubt as a state average that your drivers are any better than any other state.

Don't mean to bash us but a ton of city drivers do not know how to drive properly. The snow they get is nothing what we get up in northern MN.

I wanna take some one who has always lived in like florida and throw them on a gravel road in the middle of winter and count how many times they go in the ditch.

dont get me wrong, there is good and bad drivers everywhere, ive seen plenty of minnesotan drivers in the ditch, hell ive even been in the ditch once. but alot of us who live in the northern states, when they learn how to drive, its in winter conditions. we just have more knowledge and experience driving on roads more suitable for playing hockey than for driving.
