I lucked up and found a 3800 with 113k on it in the junk yard; come out of a Regal. Runs beautifully and replaced my 157k 3800 with a spun bearing.
Just look around at U-Pull its and what not, be surprised what you could find. We over-looked the Regal and didn't find it till the second day of all day looking. Just hang in there.
Granted changing engines out was a PIA and I will never ever do it again if I can get around it.
