    Good question.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

    Pitiful!
I was close-gripping (index finger off the knurling) 265 for a triple before I started cutting. My standard benching was probably thereabouts, too (close-gripped way more). I guess I work triceps a lot more than pecs, which I'm trying to resolve somewhat.
Now, 185 feels heavy (super serious) and I really lack the drive to press as much as I did on 4,000Cal/day. I am assuming it should come right back as soon as I start eating big again.

Just read this. Moved into my apartment on Monday and have been crazy busy, I have 24 1/2 lb burgers, 20 or so boneless chicken breast, and about 6 pounds of stew meat.

I read through that and it looks pretty legit, I have been throwing around the idea of using the crock pot a lot more.

Not everything from the crock's gotta be a stew, either. I got 90% ground beef from Wegman's ($3/lb), mixed 6lbs in a bowl with garlic powder, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper and threw it into the crock pot on low before work. Took all of five minutes and I came home to a sexy smelling house with a six pound meatloaf in it. I split it up into 1/2 pound slices and add a ladlefull of the fat to each. Bunches o' lunches.

Back from my 2hr then 1 week ban... thanks GMR!

monday I have to get a biopsy on my neck from a soft tissue mass, and I somehow pinched my sciatic nerve so last 1.5weeks I can barley walk (right leg/right cheek) this week getting up from a chair of any sort I can barley walk for 2 min then it loosens up bit I still limp. Wedneday squats consisted of 185x5 and a unloaded leg press x0. I sure hope these heals soon size/strength is already going down the toilet.

Got a membership at the nicest gold's gym ever down here.

Has a whole crossfit circle in the center.... It's intense!

There's a cardiovascular room that has a movie theater and they play movies and turn the lights off lol

    Bag some crossfit broads!

ITHURTZ: My sciatica's apparently genetic and occasionally semi-crippling. Kneeling and pushing out the hips like I'm skiing a slalom on my knees is a good stretch for it. The more stretching, the better. Also, try sitting on on the floor with a ball kind of between the thigh and cheek for a massage. Sounds weird and kinda hurts, but helps. And I've found deadlifts don't interfere with it like squats will.

edit: I've been eating grilled chicken and/or pork loin every night along with 60 grams of whey every day, and I've put on about 5 pounds in the past few days.

Not to mention my definition is coming back

Woops. As it turns out, a mere 16 plates will bend a thick bar when repping out shrugs. Guess that'll never go missing from the cage again.
Also: I love these straps more than I could ever love a human baby. What callouses I do have left are fully intact.

i am generally against crossfit, but that might be because of all these stupid videos you see on youtube and such. I like the old fashioned weight lifting. thats always worked for me varying from low reps when bulking to high intense reps for cutting phases for that shredded look of course diet is huge too

Crossfit's a good way for someone to get some guidance on lifts without having to shell out for a personal trainer. I found that, with the exception of most box owners or specialty trainers (like an oly trainer), one should take a crossfit coach's advice with a grain of salt, as most are neither terrific coaches nor athletes. But, at least for a few months, they know a lot more than you do anyway. If nothing else, you're in a room full of people that you can observe doing things right or wrong and converse with about it. I'd say it's well-worth a 4-6 month investment for dudes new to barbells. Women can stick with it for life, because it gets them pretty hot.

Watched Crank before the gym tonight to get me going. If the proof is in the pudding, this evening's pudding was a 545lb deadlift with a thick bar - the same weight I pulled 7.5 weeks ago before my cut, 15lbs heavier - as well as three sets of shrugs at 855lbs, followed by a 14 rep handstand pushup set, which is a 2-rep PR. I'll have to see if they have any 100lb plates, as that's as many 45's as the bar will hold.

Hey, you can come back from it. S'not like you shot it off. Rest, hip stretches, joint supps... friend fixed his knee issue with insoles. It sucks, but you're still young enough to fix it.

I feel like a new man! Hopefully I feel like this driving the box truck, 5min in that thing and I am ready to chop my legs off.

Sciatic nerve isnt as bad as it was, but its getting better, knees POS, and today while giving I gave my daughter some french fries I tweaked the back by turning to much. I am 28 dammit not 60! Knees feel great though right now so I can deal with 2 problems
