My sister was just in a car wreck she was going to the bank for her Boss and she was waiting to pull out and a semi stopped traffic to let her out and she started going then heard an SUV coming towards her and got hit on the drivers side front corner of the front end. The SUV came around the semi in the other lane. It ripped the front end of her bumper off and spun her around a couple of times. The cops told her that they think her Mustang is totaled, I didnt see the car but she does have a couple of pics of it I'll put them up later when I get home. She's fine her back is hurting a little but she says she's fine just really upset that her car is gone.

Man, so the SUV driver went around the semi, into the on coming traffics lane and then hit her? Or was it a 4 lane road and she didn't see the other lanes traffic comming?

Damn. Glad shes ok besides a few bumps or bruises could of been worse. SUV vs. Car doesn't always equal as good.

Thanks guys!!! It's actually 3 lanes one going one way and 2 going another the semi was in the lane closet to her and the SUV was going around him in the other lane (that lane was the one that has 2 lanes) Getting ready to go see the car and take some pics.

I see Dave & Abbs with you there!

I wish her well, hopefully she won't be as sore tomorow, but she will probably be more sore as her muscles start to tense. Tell her to drink plenty of fluids to keep from being too bad.

thats not totalled insurenace companies suk thats bullcrap you should have just rebuilt it for her not that difficult to do a front end rebuild on a smashed ford "experiance" lol like looking stang b4that i bet! unless the bags and the engine got screwed then its fixable aslong as frame is ok

I had a Ford Escape last year that was in a rear end accident. I was hit at maybe 15 miles per hour, and at first check, the damage didn't look too bad. But I checked in the wheel well, and sure enough, bent frame. Not my fault, I was at the front of it. But I'm guess the Mustang is totaled, and its possible the Jeep is as well.

Disappointed to see another wrecked yellow car. My Escape was yellow too. I tried to find a yellow MC instead of my Grand Prix, but no luck.

Theres alot of damage on the front of that car. Radiator support looks twisted, no telling what else since its a unibody car. I know shes probably in love with the car but if it was me I'd hope it was totaled. It would take a good body/front end man to get that car right and not many of those exist anymore. Most likely it'll never be right again.

The car did its job and kept her safe and alive, thats the good thing. Good luck with whatever happens!

Man please do wish her well for me!!!! I am sure she is pretty shaken up over that accident!!! Been there and done that one myself! Scary stuff! I am glad she is ok.

I hope everything works out with her car and the insurance, that person in the SUV should be beaten senseless. I have seen that same senario happen to many times over the years, where they get impatient and just whip around another car stopped in their lane and plow into an unsuspecting vehicle

Once again please do wish her well for me!

Thanks guys!! I will tell her James. Its at a body shop right now getting looked at, her friends BF is the one looking at her car she's hoping that he will say it can be fixed. She was out looking at cars I'm trying to talk her into buying a Grand Prix (telling her they get better gas mileage than a Mustang) but she loves the Mustangs though. Hopefully she will hear something later today or tommorow. Her airbags never deployed (sp) I'm surprised they didnt.

Well whatever the outcome....don't back down from the insurance company. Although if it was obviously the jeep's fault, their insurance may do what it takes to make her happy.

She still hasn't heard anything from the insurance if they are going to total it or not. The guy that looked at it said that he is pretty sure that they are going to total it.
