Ok guys got a BIG problem, Please help me lol, I thought it was my head gaskets failing, maybe they are i dunno, but i took the supercharger off to find this, The area by the coolant passages (yellow things) to the supercharger are completely dry, So whats going on, i've been burning coolant lately, and it drinks it down after about a day of driving. is this my head gasket or something else, also this is coolant in the intake cause i took a propane torch to it and it didn't ignite. So why is it leaking like this??? please help me i really don't want to have to take the heads off if i don't need to i need this car for work and my Z is now parked.

I just did the 80 dollar felpro intake gaskets last summer maybe 4 thousand miles on them.

Haven't been around here in A LONG TIME lol. But it all depends on where the real leak is.. did you put RTV in the corners of the gaskets under the Lim? Thats a common place for leaks if you dont put a ton of RTV in the corners connecting the metal gaskets with the rubber ones.

First one is the kind of gaskets you are supposed to have with the aluminum style

And this where the RTV globs should be

That may be your issue... those plastic ones are JUNK, if not installed perfectly they will leak.. Id suggest getting the Aluminum ones, definitely worth the investment. I did mine the week i bought my car haha.

    not cool man, not cool.

Well regardless im pulling the heads, i just thought of it and well, the head gaskets could go and i don't want to play with that crap, and i can finally port match my heads, and have the valve opened up. so whatever. im also looking into a inter cooler setup to run a 3.25 pulley.

the RTV in the corners only helps with keeping oil in the lifter valley and air out of it.

did you check your blower case for pitting?

That picture is after the repair was made.

take out your TB screen and open the throttle plate and look at the BBV area of the blower, if its dry before it then the TB gasket is fine, if its wet before that then its your TB gasket.

If its dry before it then your S/C to LIM gasket was not sealed properly.... I'd suggest checking the lim and case for pitting as i mentioned previously.
