If you look at my sig line over on Regalgs it shows "The NEW Alternative to ClubGP" as a link to here.

I have "My alternative to ClubGP" right now with a link to Regalgs on ClubGP just to see what happens, eventually I will change it.

I have always tried to stay as politically correct and keep a low profile on ClubGP. I wanted to associate with people that love the Grand Prix as much as I did but there is so much bullsh$% going on over there now I had to get away. I still go back to see what others are doing but I'm tired of the same conversations.

I want to see new products and new ideas. Definitely need permanent threads or a how to section on tinting tails, or hids etc..., and a thread on what aftermarket vendors supply GP parts and accessories.

    1. I agree with you, the love of the Grand Prix, Monte Carlo's, Regals and others should be the motivation for the board. I never got the impression from over there that that was the motivation behind the board. We aim to be different here. In fact Ive seen more posts over there from Mike in the last week than I have saw in the last 2 1/2 years or so I was on there.

    2. I dont think belonging to a board is exclusive. Just because you belong to the other board doesnt mean you cant belong here or any other similar forum for that matter. Now, that said, our goal is to run this place in such a fashion and to have each of you involved in such a way that the others dont matter anymore and you want to spend your time here instead. Thats the goal anyway.

    3. I want to see new ideas and products as well. That is the reason we have the extra vendor section. In fact, in starting this forum that was a VERY important item to us. Take advantage of it, let them (the shade tree vendors) know what you want to see. Some of them have good resources to make things happen, but they may not know what to do or where to start without your voice and involvement.

    4. The how to's are in the works. If you have some how to's wrote up, share them with us. You can send a copy to me and I will make sure it gets put up. The bottom line is that this is YOUR forum. YOU are part of the community and you dont have to perform miracles to contribute or be a part of it.

    5. As for the after market vendors, I think there are only the three really that are the major contenders, so there may not be much to be done there. However, with the shade tree vendors, we may need to get a list together of which ones are out there and what they specialize in.

First post for me here.........what a breath of fresh air this forum is.

ClubGP has really gone down the crapper. Hopefully all the good senior/veteran members come here instead.
