Soulseek is a great way to find music (and obscure stuff - I once found a guy with the discography of a "local band" that split 30 years ago) and meet people on occasion. I've actually wound up partying with bands, waking up in strange places, etc. because of Soulseek. Not to mention the tons of genres and bands other people opened my eyes to while chatting with them.

A while back, my buddy tried to invite me from within my house. They don't like when you do that from the same IP. Oops.

I download music for free then subsequently purchase CD's...

Because CD's have epic awesome quality that you'll never get on iTunes because iTunes is terrible...

I am on Demoniod but its not as good as people rave about. All the rare hard to find stuff has such little feeders if any most of the time it takes very long and sometimes only get 85% because the feeder like you is waiting for the original host to finish seeding.

    Download Bittorrent into your computer.

Go to torrents | your bittorrent search (www.torrents.to) they have basically every download site you'll need.

Been using it for free for years.
