We all have our individual tastes. Theres one thing thats for sure though, good hard driving music is universal. Hip-hop, rock, metal, electronic, sick-hip-trip-metal-hop-indiegrind.

In this thread we shall try to amass the single most ear-splittingly incredible collection of driving songs ever to grace the driving populace.

There are rules, you cretins. First off, NO Enya. I dont care if you like to trayslide to the Twin Peaks soundtrack. That's not for this thread. Only songs that you could imagine yourself either ripping your tires to shreds to, careening off of a cliff into a pool of molten magma, or making a hot run for the border with two dozen pissed off cops on your ass. Soul destroying metal, rash inspiring techno, chugging techno and death metal that would make your grandparents rip out their eardrums with shrimp de-veiners. Hard, fast music.

Provide a youtube link, because damn near eveything is on youtube nowadays.

Thank you very much. Raining Blood is one of the reasons I wanted Guitar Hero 3

Along with Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast.

Also, anyone listen to Queens of the Stone Age? Any of their songs, but especially
    Little Sister &
    Battery Acid

and finally, most Tool songs, including
    Lateralus
    Stinkfist
    Jambi
    OK, all of them.

Gotta agree w/the above mention of Megalomaniac, too. All these are good so far! I'll try to post more as I think of them.

Nice choices with Tool and Queens of the Stone Age.
I'm a die-hard Tool fan, and "Little Sister" was one of the first songs I learned to play fully on guitar.

Buuuut while on the topic of Tool, you forgot some basic necessities...
    Parabola
    Schism
    Ænema
    The Pot
    Vicarious
    Disposition
    Pu****
    The Grudge

Me too. LOVE THEM. So does my brother. He's learned just about every Tool song on guitar, and QotSA is absolutely amazing live. Both bands came through here recently. Got to see QotSA up close at the Cain's, and it was a phenomenal show.

    Adding…

    Most things by Buckethead:
    Seven Laws of Woo
    Soothsayer &
    Nottingham Lace

    Sevendust- Black
Pantera-Psycho Holiday, ******* Electric, Cowboys from Hell
Godsmack- pretty much the entire Awake CD, but I particularly like Vampires
Deftones- My Own Summer (shove it)
Avenged Sevenfold- The beast and the harlot
Korn- Got The Life, Twisted Transistor (good bass tones right there)

And I usually have the ol' Sirius tuned into Octane.....can't beat that station.
