go for it
Then say it has 250 horsepower after an intake and muffler.
Do it, sell it, get something better. :th_thumbsup-wink:
1) trade it
2) sell it
3) buy something nicer
Down here in Florida next to the beaches, the ladies dig the convertibles. Had a 89 Camaro convertible. Awesome car. Had so many people complement me on that car. And like I said the ladies loveed it. But got rid of it because I was going to have to put at least a 4 point roll bar in it at the track. Not so much for the strip but for road racing. So I got my 87 IROCZ instead with t-tops. Adam :-)
If you don't trade tell him you know a guy that has a fast minivan that will! lol. It is faster then the mustang and more useful too!
Verts are less stiff thus handle worse...
Same with T tops.
That's why I got rid of my vert. But on the IROC with t-tops. You just add sub frame connectors and all the bracing you can(minus cage/roll bar) and you then have the best of both the verts and hardtop cars.
Yuppers.
Buddy of mine has an Iroc with just an edelbrock suspension kit... SFC's are waiting till next year to be installed.
Interested to see how much of a difference they'll make.
the only stang id ever buy is a termi in silver no ragtop. that is all...:th_sick1:
Mine has Hotchkis lowering springs, lower control arms, adjustable pan hard bar, Sphon adjustable torque arm that mounts to the cross member for the 6 speed, BMR lower control arm relocation brackets, steering brace and 3 point strut tower brace. The only thing I don't have is the sub frame connectors. Haven't done them yet because I need to patch the floors where the rust got to it from leaky t-tops. Don't want to weld them in and not be able to fix my floor. But when I do do them. There are two sets out there. The first set is by a company called Alston. They run more along the middle of the car. Then I will add another set that goes along the rockers like most of them do. So it will be as stiff as humanly possible with out a cage.
Friend has an dark red 04 Termi hardtop. Cars sick. Has some mods to it. But it's just a dyno queen. He says it should be faster on the street according to the dyno numbers.
coilovers.... :p
hotckis i'm not a fan of because its all about "while maintaining comfort".
You can get inside and outside SFC's. Depends on where you're running your exhaust.
Still sounds like it'd be an awesome car to drive.
Mind PM'ing or visitor messaging a link to some pics?
Nope don't really need them. I sit just fine.
And that's what I love about them. This is still manly a street/show car that will see some track use.Quote:

Stock routed exhaust. SLP 1 3/4 headers into a GMMG catback. Sounds wicked. So I have room to do them both.Quote:

It is a fun car to drive has 17x9 rims with 275/40/17 Goodyear eagle GSD3s. And I upgraded to LS1 brakes on all 4 corners too. Combine all that with a mild 420hp EFI 350sbc and a T56 6 speed. Car is all kinds of fun. Love to drive it when ever I can. I'll see if I can get some picks to send you. Adam :-)Quote:
