That looks nice! Wish i could get mine color matched to my car but I think that might be to hard. Any idea where it was done?
Would love to have the S/C polished but cant afford to have the car undrivable for that length.

Do what many do who want quality but no down time of their car. Buy a good used core and send that in ahead of time. Then when its done, spend a hour or so swapping it over and call it a day. Then sell off your old one you removed from your car for the same amount you spent on the core originally to cover your out of pocket expense.

Or...do up a cool ass engine cover with a custom paint job anyway, and I can always do up a snout for you ahead of time and send that polished, fully rebuilt with a refundable core when you send me yours back after you swap that over. I have plenty of GenIII snouts laying around.

Whitcomb is kind of hard to get a hold of sometimes, and miiight.... take a while, but he does very good stuff, and does it way too cheap for what your getting.

I have talked with him on a few occasions, and he has been really busy. He is still going to continue to paint the covers, but not so many at one time.

He does some fantastic work for sure.

I wish people were more understanding in realizing that when others offer a service like painting, polishing, or custom parts etc. that this is not their full time job normally. So for the quality you get, it tends to take a little longer than just clicking buy me now, and having it in 3-4 days with a production ran part.
