I've been looking at some "vip style" cars and i like how low they are and how the tires are tucked in under the fenders. Has anyone ever done a VIP style grand prix?

I also think it looks unbelievably stupid. It reminds me of those stupid rodent Kia commercials with those gay ass toaster cars.

The closest GP that I can think of that would be the closest to VIP would be Drunkie's car and a couple of similar ones. I'll get my car like his one day.

VIP is just to much anyways.

VIP style is not the same thing as what you guys are talking about.

    VIP style:

this is also known as WAY TOO MUCH CAMBER...

now, for those of you that already answered, you are referring to 'stanced', 'hellaflush', etc.

    stanced:

both require stretching tires, negative camber, and VERY stiff suspension to make sure your tires dont eat your fenders. if i had a grand prix i would definitely be one of the first people to ever do it. yes, tons of people have lowered their cars and some guys are on bags to tuck their wheels. however, the closest we have around here to a stanced car is boostjunki with his cobras:

or drunkie's 04 with small spacers to get the wheels flush:

hope that helps ya. no one has done it and the coilovers for our cars suck and arent meant for lowering like you would want for a stanced car.

Idk about everyone else, but I WAS referring to the VIP style Bio was talking about -- also in that pic it looks like the driver would be eating their rice out of those bowls they call rims haha. Looks so dumb I can't even think of a proper analogy to describe how dumb I think it is. Makes the car look like got run over by Big Foot.

That's not VIP style either.. at least that's not what I think of when I hear VIP..

That's called oni camber.. it's a Japanese tradition.. that's gay.. and probably dangerous too..

So you wear out one side of the tires then have them flipped for twice the tire life of 2 000 miles?

    ^ lol...
especially when they forget to put a set of oil rings on from the factory,
or when they leave the t-stat housing slightly loose from the factory and you overheat and warp your head @ 2,000km,
or how you have wicked wind noise,
or how the mood lamp wiring can catch fire...

    yes... 'tight'
