Flight Simulator?

I've been bored lately, and decided to look into getting a flight simulator game, maybe pick up a joystick.

I was wondering if anyone knows of the best one, as far as graphics, physics, ect... goes.

I love flight simulator games I used to play them all the time. Also you should invest in one of those flight stick things its make the game a hell of alot more fun imo

If you want one that's actually fun for more than 10 minutes, get Hawx.

Otherwise MS Flight sim X is probably the best as far as true simulators. I've heard X-plane is pretty good as well but I never tried it because it looks like a rip-off of MS flight sim.

Both have a huge modding community. The mods are really the only way to make it much fun IMO. I remember playing online with a friend, flying an AN-225 upside-down through a canyon. That fun lasted about 10 minutes, then we got bored and played counterstrike.

It would probably be far more fun with these instead of a regular ****ty joystick:

I have played many flight sims and i like Flight Simulator X the best.. just make sure your computer is fast enough to run it because its not fun to play when it lags. Its also cool because you can play online with other people and download addon planes.

I tried flight simulator 98 for pc years ago obviously lol and like it and im sure much has changed since then. I tried Hawx for the 360 and honestly hated it.
