Hey i was curious whats on average the cheapest you can find a sti for ? I know a lot comes into play like condition and miles. Lets say a good condition sti with around 70k miles. 2006-2009. Cheapest being around 14 grand? or more?

depends on what you want it for. from what ive seen on the net the sti guys get them for offroad or more punishing conditions and then the wrx is more for street. this is just opinionated though but if i were you id find a wrx. you can prolly find a good one for under 15k. the only difference between the 2 i believe is the sti has a better tranny and suspension but they both are highly modifiable.

wrxs from 06 and after have the same motor as the stis (2.5 h.o. 4) they had smaller turbos and a less efficient intercooler.

stis got the vf39 turbo ( i think) and better tmic. As well as a near bullet proof 6spd trans and better suspension. Which is godly compared to the wrxs 5 spd weak tranny

a wrx can be modded fairly easily to run the power of and sti. but the trans really makes the difference.

but legacy gt limited > wrx/sti. get the performce of a rex, the tranny of and sti, and tons of aftermarket support in a sleeperish pakage

for an STI with around 80-100k miles youre looking for $18k+. if you want one with 30-50k miles then youre looking at $22-25k.

    trust me, ive been looking.
