You know.. this website is amazing. I'm on it all the time.. not usually posting but browsing ALOT, and there is a TON of useful information on this forum. I'm just really grateful for everyone on here that are always willing to help! I just ordered two GPF decals to put on my car to show my support. Also want to thank bluegtp91 for his very useful thread on safely modding your 3800 powered car!

Yeah I rarely start a thread because someone far more talented or experienced or richer than I, has almost always answered anything I want to know about the 3800 W body.

I'm willing to bet you'll regret it.

I'll never sell my bass... its my baby. I'd sell my car before my bass haha.

    True enough.

You might want a resonator on there as well. It would really clean up the exhaust note. Make it more defined.

    Pick or fingers?

    fingers lol.

And the guy who had the car before me took out the resonator.. everyone says it sounds bad.. but i think it sound pretty good with the flowmaster hushpower muffler.. its a nice deep tone.. not throaty or raspy at all.. and he set it up instead of having two mufflers at the end there is one right in the middle before the Y and after the high flow cat

So basically you have a SUPER resonator.

    Interesting....

I have no resonator, but i have an exhaust leak and brand new stock muffs so it doesnt sound too bad considering the ****ing leak.

and bonus points for fingers haha.

Lol a super resonator never thought of it like that! every other gp i see usually has the two mufflers at the tips.. i wonder if anyone has theirs set up like mine? and yea the tone when you play with your fingers is so much more nicer than with a pick.. my friend uses a pick cauz hes a ***** lol

Well instead of a resonator you have a muffler.

And instead of mufflers you have nothing.

It must be quite the interesting sound to say the least.

And yeah, you can make up for the darkness of fingers with brighter strings. Have yet to try steels since my bass sounds fine with nickels IMO.

Okay my camera absolutely sucks at videos.. especially when the sound is loud. This really isnt accurate at all.. it sounds so different in person.. so you can use this video as some reference but you really need to hear it in person because it actually sounds good in person lol

if you want me to try and take a better on i will
