Hmmm...they look dull.
Holy crap, dark enough?
It looks good. I usually don't like badges on the truck of our cars, but I think it has something to do with that sexy spoiler that ties it all in. Now paint the rear fascia FLAT black, and get silver RC inserts.
they are dark as hell but the light comes thru just fine plus i just bought the led style stock bulbs and the load equalizer and im puttin those in later. they are dull but im not a fan of gloss and theyre a nice even coat so im keepin it that way. it took me all of about 1 hour and one can of tint and a can of clear. btw i didnt sand or buff. i sprayed...waited... sprayed...ect. ive tinted old tailights before on my truck and i never had quality problems they lasted forever and i never wetsanded or buffed those either. im not sayin you dont hafta but i didnt and im satisfied. oh and yes as we speak im paintin the bottom fascia and i have the overlays in white
The entire can? GTFoutta here...that's beyond overkill
looks good!! Think mine only have 2 coats, and can't really see the stock bulbs.. unless your eye level with'em.
Also bought led bulbs and 24" led strip, doing the 4th brake light mod.
Just got tinted tails and bought a daytona spoiler.... so it's interesting to see that my spoiler will now cover the visible(fixed) rust.![]()

haha yeah, my 3 coats is like half the can.
why don't you like the gloss look? the rest of your paint is like that. take a look at the tail lights in my VHT writeup and tell me you wouldn't like gloss![]()
