Well I'm bored and decided to find a new project.

Picked up this 1989 4 Cylinder 5 Speed Mustang LX the other day for $300 with a clean title.

Had a loud tapping noise, so I took off the valve cover, and 2 of the rockers were sitting in-between the springs!

I put them back on, and got it running pretty decent.

Car still needs a few things, but so far so good.

Everything electrical actually works, including doors, windows, radio, ect (hard to believe)

A/C Does not work, and I believe neither does the heat, judging from a ghetto by-pass setup under the hood, which I have to fix since it's leaking onto the manifold.

Here's a few pictures, without cleaning it or anything.

The intake had a giant hole on the bottom side, so I taped it up for now until I get a new one on.

The car has little to no rust, no frame rust, just some on the door.

For the moment, the plan is to get it stable running condition, and go from there. I'll either keep it for a daily mess around, swap a 5.0, or sell it for a profit.

Haha. If I had the cash to custom do that, it would be a option.

Most likely going to fix it up and either A. Daily it or B. Flip it, or C. A big if, 5.0 it.

That's basically the idea as of this moment, still debating on it.

Running some numbers on a conversion.

    Well to each their own.

I'm not a fan of the solid headlights, more of the 4 eye fox's like my old one.

But either way, they still clean up real nice.

I also would of preferred a notch instead of another hatch, but for $300 I'm not going to complain.

I thought my old one was cool.

I won't even need to put 1000 into it.

    I already got it running.

A good buff job / some minor paint fix's and it will look as good as new.
