Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?
mid 13's DD, keep it as a DD when I get my corvette in a few years, then sell her for a pickup and a boat! :)
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?
To run high 13's and have a fun car that will put you back in your seat
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?
Well my white prix to bring back to stock. The yellow prix to 12's and a dd, but it MUST BEAT MY CHARGER. lol
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?
my goal at the moment is to get as many mods as possible done to it before my 3 car shows coming up in less then 2 weeks while not having a job
but besides that, i want it to be the best show quality car that it can possibly be being a daily driver & all, I want it to have a BA sounding exhuast & I want to get it into the 14's or high 13's to begin.
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?
high 12's or low 13's and ill be satifisfied....when it blows up ill drop an l26 in and turbo that *****!
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?

Yeah good luck ever getting a 3800 exhaust to sound good, we've all tried and failed.

has anyone ever tried something different like a fart can or something like that? just curious how it would sound.
anyway, my plan was to get into the 13's, and have a sick green and gold gp (which i have never seen) but now the plan is most likely to sell it.

It'd sound like a fart cannon....
My goal is for my car to actually DO something and GO somewhere in second gear instead of mashing the pedal and the car makes lots of noise and you slowly accelerate. :th_shakinghead2:

I'm not sure if anyone has tried a fart can yet, but people have tried just about everything else and nothin.
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?
theres gotta be a way to make these cars sound decent. if i had money and a place to do it i would try some weird setups and see what happens.

Some catbacks sound good if you have a totally stock exhaust above it, but once you do any mods like a downpipe, headers, etc it sounds like ****. Stock catback ftw.
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?

sounds like a freakin V8 to me :th_thumbsup-wink:
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?
I'll do mild mods, didn't get the car to see how fast it can go, way past that stage and have another toy for that. My goal is to have something mildly different that doesn't look like every other GP on the road.
So at this stage, I'm after some appearance mods, after that enjoy the car.
Re: So what is your goal for your w-body?
Does buying a W-body count as a goal? :th_laugh-lol2:

agreed that most videos dont do cars justice, but anything above idle speeds on these cars just dont sound good. its best to just keep them quiet.
