    I have just had both front bearings done in the last 2 months, over $2000.00 of work, just 2 $100.00 deductibles !! Yikes !!! Aftermarket warrenty to the rescue !!!

    How do they figure $1000 a pop for wheel bearings?

    ^good question...these must be those new space age wheel bearings I've been hearing about...they come out of used mufflers

    i had a MAF sensor s**t a chicken on my way home from school one night. limped to autozone hoping 1) they were still open, and 2) i had a warranty. found out i had a lifetime warranty on it. free $200 part whenever it breaks haha

    so u basically paid for the 2 bearings with the deductible.

    Right bearing, break lines, rear calipers, thermostat, and driver door switch. $100.00 deductible, otherwise I would be eating kraft dinner the rest of the month.

    pontiac charged me 1000+ labor for my front 2 wheel bearings..i also had a 100 deductible..i saw the bill and was trying to figure how they charge that friggin much..either way extended warrantys are awesome
