well its not done.. all i had done was the catback the rest is stock. i have headers and whatnot in order but this was free so i said what the hell. after weeks of research on exhaust i just said to hell with it and put straight pipe on. honestly i like the way it sounds so im keepin it like that. i have a tune in order in about a month and bein that it needs a tune up as well as the tune i figured id get it all. i found a vid of a gp with the same setup as mine and it sounds exactly like his so here it is.

YouTube - 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Exhaust

as far as driving in the high rpm it sounds similar to a 350z with a catback and thats because one is in my town and it sounds pretty similar....SIMILAR not exact.

vq35 motors create the smoothest sounding exhaust note I have ever heard. It just puuuuurs
There is no replacement for displacement........unless you have a supercharger or turbo

2000 Bright Red GTP Coupe GXP axle back, GMPP sway bar, NGK TR6, 180 stat. (Uninstalled Aeroforce Interceptor, DHP PCM, FWI, Gen V on the way) and still no pulley in sight.

Love it. Sounds like every other resonator less 3800...horrible. Put a damned glasspack back in it.

Yeah man these things sound like asshole without resonators. It's a GM V6 with the ****tiest exhaust note ever, I can't wait to go back to stock catback in the spring.
