    what was some of they mistakes you made when first modding your W-body? (Mods, custom work, purchases)

    -my newbie mistake was trying to bee cool and painting my dog bones and braces lime green.

    Hmmm lets see here. Buying a Random Technologies Down Pipe, Buying a K&N FIPK kit, and Buying a Summit Racing SLP Press on pulley.

    2000 GTP: XP, P&P'd Heads, N*\Lq4 MAF, GenV, 42#'s, PRJ Rails\FPR, Racetronix, TEP w/ 3.29 Gears, 300m, 7/8" chain, SSAC's. - Collecting dust in my garage.

    Buying headers instead of going directly to turbo. That will be resolved shortly though...

    first two mods were K&N CAI and custom magnaflow cat back..550 +300 = fail
    03 GTP - 13.8 @ 100 2.160ft
    99 GTP - DD

    the jp doubler roller is a two piece crank gear, one for the timing chain, one for the oil pump. it is not a single piece like the stock crank gear. this was the downfall of my L36 block.

    I pretty much listened to everything blue and bio said from the start so I didn't **** anything up, probably the dumbest thing I did to it was trying to paint the rust spot under the gas tank myself with sandpaper and bondo.

    didnt really wake any mod no no's that i know of
    My first mod was ubend delete along with res delete and magnaflows the res delete may have been noob sauce but it doesnt sound bad
    And i should have done a brake swap just havent done it yet and when i was ready to buy the brake kit TDC pulled his disapearing act
    Plus I still need headers But I have zero knock so no real worrys

    buying 1 Bosche Spark plug lol. (didnt give me any problems, but i still dodged a bullet)

    XPZ, Alum heads,150#, I/C, GEN V mps 3.0, N* TB CAI K&N fully built trans, JE pistons, L32 rods, Comp lifters, PRJ Fuel rails, 65# Injectors, elec pump, MSD wires, MSD coils, Alum control arms, AGX, vogtland, GMPP sway bars, rear trailing arms

    hmmm..

    -Underglow and inside neons
    -Running 0 gauge through the fender and under the plastic piece on the door
    -Painted my inlay instead of buying an inlay

    GTP is gonna be different though..

    i just bought it so.. so nothing yet, but bondo and sand paper is getting ready to attack the gas cap rust, (i have done it before so hopefully it wont be a mistake)

    -projectors
    -not going turbo earlier, spent same amount of money on s/c ****
    -lowering car on gr2 struts
    -should have just started out on a GT for insurance reasons, everything is modded the hell out of anyway
