Taken it up to 130, and she had more, but I had to slow down. Just once I want to bury the needle on the car, which means 140+.

Years ago at about 150 mph and backed out. I only had minimal amount of mods back then. Car was smooth and stable and had more room, I chickened out though. I was on cheap Touring Tires (came on the car when I bought it) that weren't made for excessive speed.

I cruised in OD at 135-140 mph for several miles (I believe 10 or so) back from the first BGPM on I-44 between Joplin and Tulsa. I was catching up to my GF who had a pike pass and I didn't. She was on the phone with us on Hi-Po watch. Car was smooth and stable and never broke a sweat, I was on V-Rated Tires too. It was dumb on my part though.

I had our old 95 with the L67 swap to around 140 a few times coming home from the local track. The speedo would only ready to 110 but the needle would point down to "Unleaded Fuel Only" lol. My buddy was next to us in his GTP which has a HUD and shows how fast we were going. A few local guys in their GTPs back in the day got over 150mph. We have a very wide large bypass interstate around Fort Wayne and there are plenty multiple-mile long stretches with a wall for a median and is perfect go fast road for top speed runs. I had my Cutlass to 143 once and the digital speedo pickup started to glitch a little around there so I may have been going faster than that. One stretch of that road is near Jens parents house and is a straight 3 mile shot followed by an offramp for an escape plan hehe

138 with plenty of motor to spare. Was trying to catch the tail-end of a Mod Day after getting home from a trip to visit my in-laws in South Carolina. I was on the phone with SD GTP (hands-free was being used), and he was egging me on. He said that people were starting to leave so doing 80 in a 65 was still too slow to get there in time, and I should open up the GXP all the way.

Next thing I know, I look at the HUD and I'm doing 135. A couple of seconds later it hit 137 and I decided that I didn't feel like being arrested and getting the car impounded after only having it for 3 weeks, so I lifted and the HUD showed 138 right as I took my foot off the pedal.
    This one has a V8.
Why not just make a V6 faster?

145mph also, and I think that was before I added the powerlog too. It still had a little bit left but I let off cause it was vibrating pretty good. A little tip don't go topping out your car if your wheels are even slightly imbalanced lol.
