Thread: any top gear fans here?

this is by far my favorite show next to mythbusters

What channel do they run it on? I use to only catch the shows on UTube and I enjoyed their sense of humor and their honesty. And then when the one co-star had that near fatal accident, I didnt like the replacement as much. But I am glad to see him back at work, though he admited he came back to soon after such a horrible accident.

Are they only airing on BBC America or what?

Yes, I believe they only show it on BBC. Damn! I just got rid of some of my cable packages because I never watched any of the channels in it and... Of course sat down to watch Top Gear tonight and I didn't realize it was included. So now yes it WAS one of my favorite shows. I watch it whenever I get the chance.

I love that show and have it set up to record on my DVR.

Last weeks was good with the 1,000 mile drive across Zimbabwe in two wheel drive cars never designed for off road. Just goes to show your average Joe in the states doesn't "need" 4wd.

Top Gear is one of my favorite shows ever. It's just so well done on every level. The presentation and cinematography are second to none. I only wish we could get some of the european cars they feature over here in the states.

It's a shame BBC america only airs recent episodes, and they rerun them ad-nauseam. They forget that us yanks didn't get to see them when they originally aired! If anybody wants to see the old ones, you can download them here, FinalGear.com :: Shows :: Top Gear

Also, there's going to be a top gear america going into production on Discovery soon. Rumor has it that Adam Corolla will be one of the hosts. I've heard he's a pretty big car fanatic, so he should be a good host. I can only imagine some of the stunts they'll come up with.
