His strength had something to do with it, but it was mostly greco that got it done. His greco skills put him in a position to have leverage, so that the significant strength advantage that Lesnar had would be mostly negated.

in the fight they mentioned brocks wrestling carear. 105 and 5. the guy knows a thing or two about leverage also. randy was over powering that man hands down. its strenth combined with wrestling.

randy was pushing and shoving him around, and times throwing brock around. i would argue and say randy is just as strong.

as far as training, ive done my far share of wrestling and some judizoo (sp) training. ive also been to a few mma gyms and done sparing. this stuff is nothing new to me. i understand your concept of it was all in his wrestling technics but those wrestling technics take ALOT of strenth.

brock was pushing off the fence and randy had him held to the fence. randy was using his strenth AND wrestling to over power the guy. it was far from being only his wrestling that held him there tho.

have you ever wrestled competitivly??? if so you would under stand it takes alot of strenth to do. leverage helps alot but to throw a man around like brock the way he was doing, some times lifting the man, strenth is a huge factor.

i would be hard pressed to say brock is hands down stronger than randy.

at the begining of the fight, they first lock up, and randy pushes brock to the cage. brock then walks randy over to the cage then later takes randy down. his wrestling is just as good as randys, randy then had him by his leg and was lifting brock up. brock held randy down on the ground for a while (hes holding master greco wrestler on the ground, his gotta know something of what hes doing) they then get up and randy shuves him up against the cage and holds him there. randy then picks brock up and runs him down the fence. (after they have been wrestling around for a while, he is wrestling around an 265 pound dude, you know he has to be tired)

2nd round, randy then presses brock up against the cage again and hold brock there for a while, they then exchange hands and again hook up and randy drives him to the cage once again and holds him for a while.

fight ends.

the point was that randy for being 45 at the time of the fight is in GREAT shape and very strong. he proved that in every way in that fight. at times man handeling a 265 pound guy that is a very good wrestler himself. i think hes just as strong as brock if not stronger is some aspects.

but either way its bench racing. its arguing about what other dudes can do in the cage. non of us are in there doing it so we really dont have a standing point.
